Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily Engineering staff, ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction and safety at our Florida property. You will supervise preventive maintenance, monitor life safety systems and assist in department administration in line with brand standards and regulations.

• High school education plus schooling in building maintenance or related experience.
• Two or more years of related experience.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensure engineering associates are equipped with necessary knowledge and skills to acheive job expectations. Evaluate staff job performance and their role in team succes


• Prepare and maintain schedules, logs, and records and other documentation to ensure a smooth operation and minimize liabilities.


• Document all parts used and parts needed to be purchased


• Prioritize service request to ensure guest satisfaction. Assign, track and monitor preventive maintenance and resolve repairs.


• Ensure work areas are in ordely and clean condition. Ensure staff is trained to use proper tools and equipment


• Examine, test and maintain life safety systems to protect guests, employees and assets.


• Attend department meetings when scheduled
