Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the Facilities Engineering team across Los Angeles-area sites. You will supervise maintenance and operations of central plants, mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and BAS to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant building performance.

You will coordinate with the Chief Engineer, manage vendors, and drive asset management processes while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building engineering or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Class A commercial building operations and fire/life safety testing requirements, including Los Angeles REG 4 where relevant.
• Demonstrated proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems (BAS), including the ability to troubleshoot and coordinate repairs.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and energy efficiency practices.
• Valid state Class C Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Execute weekly workplans, including preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, equipment performance, repair history, and costs in the CMMS.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer to support central chiller plants and critical infrastructure.
• Oversee vendor and 3rd party contracted services to ensure scope of work is completed.
