Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. seeks a diligent engineer to join its Engineering team as Senior Designer.

The incumbent will direct staff in preparing, reviewing, and modifying wiring schematics and specifications for civil, electrical, electronic and mechanical aspects of equipment on the distribution system. The candidate must supervise technically oriented employees, manage multiple projects with deadlines, and render sound business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in civil/structural design and calculations.
• Familiarity with electrical distribution system operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze departmental processes for improvements and opportunities.
• Coordinate all aspects of the vault modernization process.
• Review engineering designs and applications as a technical consultant.
• Supervise Designers in the design, reinforcement, and expansion of electric distribution systems for new projects.
• Provide instruction and guidance in the development of vault drawings and bus designs.
• Review progress of projects to ensure timely completion.
