The Engineering Supervisor provides technical leadership and direct supervision of the engineering team responsible for supporting product development, manufacturing processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer technical requirements. This position ensures engineering resources are effectively utilized to support production, quality, customer satisfaction, and company growth.The Engineering Supervisor serves as a coach and mentor while driving accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate engineering personnel.• Conduct performance reviews and development plans.• Assign engineering workloads and priorities.• Support hiring, onboarding, and training.• Oversee BOMs, routers, work instructions, process sheets, and ECNs.• Review customer drawings and specifications for manufacturability.• Support production troubleshooting.• Lead new product introduction and first article builds.• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.• Collaborate with Operations, Production, Quality, Program Management, Purchasing, Sales, and Estimating.• Support AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, customer, and ITAR compliance.• Track engineering projects and KPIs.• Maintain engineering documentation within Epicor.Qualifications• 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing.• 2+ years leadership experience preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.• Experience with cable assembly, wire harness, or electromechanical manufacturing preferred.• ERP experience (Epicor preferred).Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesLeadership, communication, project prioritization, analytical problem solving, Lean Manufacturing, CAD familiarity, Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, strong organization, and customer focus.Physical RequirementsFrequent sitting, standing, and walking; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs; ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.
