Texas A&M University System's Engineering Advising Services is seeking Academic Advisors at levels I–III to guide students through degree planning, course selection, and progression. You will support retention and student success while applying FERPA-compliant practices and NACADA guidelines for advising.

The role emphasizes collaboration with students, faculty, and resources to promote timely degree completion on the main campus in College Station, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of academic advising or related experience (for Advisor II).
• Bachelor's degree plus four years of advising experience (for Advisor III).

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising to students based on NACADA guidelines and established advising theories.
• Assist with course selection, registration, academic planning, and goal setting.
• Monitor student progress, implement interventions, and refer to resources; support retention initiatives.
