Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Temecula, California (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Shift Time: 8am to 5pm

Pay Range : $23/hr to $28/hr (On W2)

We are looking for a “Engineering Technician” to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing medical device manufacturing equipment, supporting production issues, assisting with the installation and qualification of production equipment, assisting with equipment maintenance.


• Takes direction from Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor or higher.


• Needs prior 3-5 years experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and electronic devices down to component level.


• Responsibilities:


• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment following ISO/GMP published procedures; Uses schematics, scopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to adjust, repair, maintain, and test electronic equipment.


• Assist with installation and qualification of production equipment; Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment; Assist with any necessary department responsibilities; Follow established safety procedures and perform duties in a safe manner.


• Other activities as requested or required by the Company.


• Qualifications:


• High School diploma or equivalent. 3 years minimum experience in a related field preferred


• Medical device manufacturing experience and ISO/GMP training an advantage.


• Experience with Welders, Grinders, Lathes, Mills, Ovens & Lasers.


• Knowledge of Omron Controllers and other IO relays.


• Knowledge of Microsoft based computer software programs.


• Must be a team player.


• Good attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.


• Must be able to sit/stand for 2 to 3 hours at a time.
