Job summary

Washing Systems, LLC, the leading provider of laundry chemicals in North America, seeks an Engineering Specialist in Ohio. Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will manage engineering projects, oversee installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, and guide product design changes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 1–2 years of experience; AutoCAD and PLC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required or equivalent military education with 4+ years of applicable experience
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are preferred
• AutoCAD and PLC programming experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage engineering projects.
• Manage installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Direct, evaluate, and confirm product design and changes.
• Consult with customers, vendors and field technicians to solve issues and/or allocate resources.
• Perform administrative functions such as evaluating and writing reports and approving expenditures.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for engineering work.
• Initiate, plan and participate in equipment modifications and project improvements.
• Identify advanced technologies for potential business development.
• Evaluate processes and SOPs to identify improvements.
• Assist Director of Engineering in coordinating work to support project management and day-to-day operations.
