Job summary

The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy seeks an experienced maintenance technician responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on laundry equipment including ironers, folders, air compressors, boilers, and washers to keep production on schedule.

• Completion of high school plus three to four years of specialized training or experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing in an industrial production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Desirable training in boilers, industrial production equipment, medium duty delivery trucks, and HVAC systems.
• Current and up-to-date North Carolina Electrical license is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of laundry equipment (ironers, folders, air compressors, boilers, dryers, CBW and washers).
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to meet production schedules.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety and production standards.

Will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all laundry equipment, i.e., ironers, folders, air compressors, boilers, dryers, CBW and conventional washers and hydraulic press extractors. Responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities in a safe and efficient manner to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Completion of high school plus three (3) to (4) years of specialized training or experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing in an industrial production environment. Must have experience and ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Training in specific items of equipment such as industrial boilers, industrial production equipment, medium duty delivery trucks and air-conditioning and refrigeration are very desirable. Current and up-to-date North Carolina Electrical license is desirable. Must have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record.
