Job summary

Qualifications

• Working towards completing a BS in computer science or related discipline.
• Proficient in C++ coding.
• Familiar with GIT version control.
• Strong debugging methodology.
• Exposure to telecom, service providers, communications is a plus.
• Experience with virtualization and microservice development (e.g. PODs, Kubernetes, Docker containers, Redis) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype and iterate on concepts to meet mobility requirements.
• Implement core network related protocol parsers and logic for filtering and sampling.
• Virtualize functions.
• Develop proof of concept applications for trials with customers.
• Identify methods for correlating user traffic to probes and patent methods.
• Participate in feature and software definition for product.
• Rapidly solve problems and fix bugs.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Develop unit tests and perform integration testing.
• Provide input to resolve customer escalations for product issues.
• Use IxNetwork/IxLoad or other traffic tools for protocol simulation.
• Collaborate with QA engineers and software developers in a distributed environment (US, Romania).
• Contribute ideas to improve product quality and development efficiency.
