Job summary

Ayres is seeking an Engineering Services Manager to lead a diverse team delivering consulting services to public and private clients across markets. You will provide leadership, support staff development, and help drive business growth while ensuring exceptional client service and project delivery.

In this role, you will mentor engineers, manage budgets and schedules, pursue new business opportunities, and collaborate across the organization to advance strategic initiatives and strengthen client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8–10 years of consulting experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Experience leading teams and developing staff.
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineering professionals.
• Partner with senior leadership to set strategic goals and initiatives.
• Monitor workload, staffing, and project performance; align resources with objectives.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, revenue recognition, and financial performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Lead business development efforts including client engagement and proposals.
• Identify opportunities for growth within existing and emerging markets.
• Mentor and coach team members; support career development.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and delivery processes.
• Collaborate across the organization on strategic initiatives and cross-functional opportunities.
• Oversee project execution to meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
