Job summary

Musco Lighting's Product Development team in Oskaloosa, IA is seeking an Engineering Services Coordinator to manage engineering documents and bills of materials, coordinate approvals, and ensure alignment between engineering, manufacturing, and business requirements.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or related coursework, 3 years in document control, and proficiency with AutoCAD and PDM systems, plus strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant coursework in drafting, design, configuration management or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in engineering document control and coordinating with production.
• Proficiency in engineering document control practices.
• Knowledge of mechanical, structural, electrical and electronic products and components.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with PDM systems (IntraLink/PDMLink or similar).
• Familiarity with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong interpersonal collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documents and bills of materials in the MRP system.
• Maintain accurate build-to-order product configurator system.
• Coordinate the approval of engineering documents and bills of materials.
• Inform personnel of product changes and approvals through documentation.
• Check documents created by others for correctness and adherence to standards.
• Create and revise documents and bills of materials.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Job description

The Musco Product Development Team has an opening for a Engineering Services Coordinator in Oskaloosa, IA. The Engineering Services Coordinator supports accurate and timely product documentation by coordinating the review, approval, creation, and revision of engineering documents and bills of materials. This role helps ensure production teams have reliable information needed to build products correctly, implement product changes, and maintain alignment between engineering, manufacturing, and business requirements. Essential Criteria

• Minimum of associate’s degree in drafting, design, configuration management, other related fields or relevant coursework
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering document control, coordinating with production, and approving documents for production in a company that develops and manufactures products
• Proficient in engineering document control practices
• Knowledge of basic mechanical, structural, electrical and electronic products and components
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of IntraLink, PDMLink, or other PDM systems
• Knowledge of ANSI/ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standards
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills allowing collaboration with other team members/internal stakeholders.
