Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in Dallas seeks an Associate for Risk Governance to lead RCSA initiatives across engineering, aligning with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with SREs and engineers to identify operational and compliance risks in SDLC, CI/CD, cloud, and production changes, while driving the development of risk-based controls and automation. The role emphasizes leveraging analytics to optimize risk assessments, triaging incidents, and preparing materials for Engineering Risk

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field with 1 year experience; or Bachelor’s with 3 years of experience in the role.
• Experience with risk frameworks including NIST CSF.
• Experience visualizing data analyses in risk management reports using Tableau.
• Experience with analytics and automation to enhance testing and sampling strategies.
• Ability to communicate results to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute division-wide RCSA initiatives across the enterprise to align with regulatory standards.
• Identify operational and compliance risks in engineering processes including SDLC, CI/CD, cloud infra, and production change management.
• Develop and optimize risk dashboards and control evidence collection using automation and AI tools.
• Coordinate internal audit responses and report to senior management and risk committees.
• Promote risk culture through training and onboarding for engineers.
