Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group is seeking an Associate, Risk Governance in New York to assess risk across Engineering processes and deliver a prioritized book-of-work for engineering teams.

You will support the Digital Risk Office (DRO) roadmap to maintain compliance with the DRO framework and work with Core Engineering leads to drive timely risk remediation.

The role requires advanced degrees and hands-on experience in risk management, with experience in cloud, IAM, and SDLC technologies.

Qualifications

• One year of experience with a Master's degree or two years with a Bachelor's in risk-related roles.
• Experience with risk management methodologies and frameworks; assessing engineering processes including IAM, SDLC, Cyber Response, and Resilience; and cloud/mobile/infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk for various Engineering Processes to identify a prioritized list of risks.
• Create a targeted book-of-work for Engineering teams in the Firm.
• Support the Digital Risk Office (DRO) roadmap to maintain compliance and enhance the framework.
• Engage with Core Engineering leads to ensure timely risk remediation and adoption of platform solutions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the DRO framework and related processes.
