Job summary

Milliken & Company in Cleveland, TN seeks an Engineering Services Professional II to ensure optimal performance of mechanical and electrical equipment, drive continuous improvement, reduce downtime and energy use, and manage environmental metrics.

You will create standard process instructions, maintain performance reports across building, production and environmental data, and develop preventative maintenance processes while coordinating with plant teams and outside contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Textile Engineering or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance of mechanical and electrical equipment and drive downtime/energy improvements.
• Create standard process instructions and maintain performance reports.
• Establish collaborative relationships with outside contractors and vendors.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance processes.
• Support plant safety processes and training of team members.
• Provide feedback, allocate work, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure safety rules are understood and followed.
