Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking an Engineering Program Manager for Release & Engineering Operations in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on driving release readiness, engineering operations, and cross-functional execution to enable timely product delivery.

You will partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Quality Engineering to plan, test, validate, and release product capabilities. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus experience with SDLC and release processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Engineering Operations, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), release management, testing processes, and engineering operations.
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Product Management, and Quality Engineering teams.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end release readiness processes including planning, execution tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality Engineering teams to ensure successful delivery and release of product capabilities.
• Drive operational processes around testing, validation, bug management, launch readiness, and post-release reviews.
• Maintain visibility into release health, testing status, and critical path dependencies.
