Job summary

Neptune Technology Group is seeking a Technology Development Manager to lead our Technology Development team and own a broad portfolio of engineering functions critical to Neptune’s long-term product success.

This is a first-level engineering management role with meaningful breadth — spanning early-stage technology research, product regulatory compliance, intellectual property management, and hardware architecture support.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering leadership across multiple disciplines.
• Experience directing research programs and reducing technical risk.
• Proven ability to manage IP filings and regulatory activities.
• Track record of coordinating with product, legal, and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Technology Development team, guiding engineers, technicians, and co-ops.
• Direct technology research programs to close knowledge gaps before product development.
• Own IP management, patent filings, and interactions with patent counsel.
• Support hardware architecture decisions and product specification development.
• Create processes and policies to align projects with schedules and goals.
