Job summary

Lippert Components is seeking a Project Manager to lead the portfolio of engineering projects from intake through production. You will communicate across the organization, guiding project teams to meet demanding goals and partnering with the corporate PMO to implement process improvements.

The role requires 5+ years of project leadership in new product development, PMP certification, and strong stakeholder engagement with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business, or similar field.
• 5+ years experience leading new product development projects.
• Written and spoken communication proficiency, coaching, organizational skills, initiative, team player, decision making, time management, and thoroughness
• Able to effectively engage, manage, and communicate to stakeholders including senior leadership
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Understand business objectives and opportunities
• Manage new project intake process
• Lead cross functional project scoping
• Assess and communicate resource constraints
• Develop project charters to align project scope, schedule, budget, and KPI's with project sponsors and stakeholders
• Establishes and manages the project schedule; assigns tasks and ensures deliverables in PLM
• Lead project core team for cross-functional coordination
• Support design reviews and gate reviews
• Manage change, risk, and issues; escalate as needed
• Own project status reporting to senior leadership in monthly reviews
• Model and enforce project management best practices
• Work with PMO to continuously improve processes
