Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Project Manager to lead the engineering project portfolio from intake to production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, communicate with senior leaders, and drive projects to successful completion.

You will define charters, manage schedules and budgets, and partner with the PMO to implement continuous improvements in project management processes. Strong communication and urgency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business, or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience leading new product development projects.
• PMP Certification and strong communication, organizational skills, initiative, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understand business objectives and opportunities.
• Manage new project intake process.
• Lead cross functional project scoping.
• Assess and communicate resource constraints.
• Develop project charters to align scope, schedule, budget and KPIs with sponsors.
• Establish and manage the project schedule with assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Lead core project team for cross functional coordination.
• Support design reviews and project gate reviews.
• Manage scope via change control processes.
• Maintain Risk Register and Issues List with escalation as needed.
• Own project status reporting to senior leadership.
• Model and enforce project management best practices.
• Collaborate with PMO to continuously improve processes.
