Job summary

Rhodes Wolfe near Manchester, NH seeks an Engineering Project Manager to own projects from concept through installation, commissioning and turnover. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, automation, fabrication, vendors and internal teams, while maintaining close communication with customers to ensure successful delivery.

This hands-on role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least five years of project management or related experience, with a track record in industrial equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, manufacturing, plant operations, maintenance, or a related technical environment.
• Experience with industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from kickoff through design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and final turnover.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, understanding project needs, providing updates, and driving successful project delivery.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, automation, fabrication, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving forward.
• Review P&IDs, equipment layouts, drawings, and engineered solutions with customers and internal teams.
• Partner with controls and automation engineers on process controls and system integration.
• Monitor progress, flag potential challenges, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Lead customer and internal project meetings and build strong client relationships.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing competing deadlines.
• Communicate effectively across customers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
