Job summary

Sierra Lobo, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Engineering Project Manager to oversee multiple large-scale projects at NASA Langley Research Center. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, ensure objectives and budgets are met, and coordinate with clients and internal staff in a fast-paced environment.

US citizenship is required, with a background in engineering and project management. Expect responsibility for schedules, deliverables, risk management, and compliance with safety policies across site

Qualifications

BS degree in engineering with 5–10 years of engineering experience, at least 3 years in project management.
MS degree in engineering with 3–5 years of engineering experience, at least 2 years in project management.
PMI PMP® or CMRP® certification or obtain within 2 years of hire date.
US Citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering projects of various sizes and disciplines, and lead a team to develop required documentation and deliverables within budget and schedule.
Serve as the point of contact for opportunities, objectives, scope, and budget with clients.
Direct and oversee project management activities; coordinate resources in a matrix organization and supervise multiple projects and teams.
Evaluate performance of team members and resolve conflicts; may perform PM activities for in-house design to balance workload.
