Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the United States to lead engineering and construction projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing budgets and schedules to meet client goals.

You will drive change management, oversee documentation, and mentor engineers and technicians while ensuring adherence to project controls and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering and/or PMP registration is highly preferred.
• Up to 10 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
• Knowledge of the Hargrove project execution procedures.
• Ability to lead a team to deliver on commitments.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage promotional projects minimizing cost by estimating Professional Services man hours and meeting objectives.
• Manage commercial contracts on one or more projects of various sizes.
• Ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner, process Change Notices, review the Office Earnings Report, and keep project plans current.
• Maintain control of budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Use project controls tools to manage project progress and reporting.
• Participate in major technical, cost, scheduling and performance decisions for assigned projects.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with client team and stakeholders.
• Champion Change Notices and promote positive Change Management.
• Lead the project team and coordinate with client groups to align schedule and budget.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and recognize outstanding contributions.
