Job summary

Boar’s Head Brand in Indiana is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to provide technical and administrative direction on engineering department projects. You will collaborate with operations staff across locations, vendors and consultants to deliver complex, compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes project leadership, mentoring of engineering teams, and driving process improvements while maintaining budget and schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) preferred.
10+ years leading engineering teams on complex projects.
PMBOK knowledge and regulatory compliance experience.
Experience with food manufacturing facilities and food safety.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute complex, multi-faceted engineering projects.
Direct multiple concurrent projects within budget and funding constraints.
Develop and mentor engineering and facilities staff in project management and engineering practices.
Provide expert guidance in design, development and implementation of manufacturing processes and cost improvements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and directives.
Identify technology options and energy reduction opportunities.
Interface with outside vendors and equipment manufacturers to obtain best-value services.
