Job summary

Sonny’s Enterprises is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to oversee engineering initiatives from charter through APQP approval. You will implement gateway processes, manage costs, and use Smartsheet for tracking while coordinating cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5–7 years in engineering project management, strong communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on cost control, resource allocation, and quality assurance. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• PM certification a plus.
• 5–7 years of Project Management experience in engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Sheets/Project or similar tools.
• Familiarity with gateway processes in project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, goals, schedules, and deliverables.
• Use gateway processes to define, review, and approve project stages.
• Implement project-tracking tools to monitor progress, risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates and budgets.
• Create and manage project budgets and monitor expenses to meet constraints.
• Allocate resources across departments to meet requirements.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead status meetings and report progress to management.
• Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.
