Job summary

Curtiss-Wright is seeking a Project Manager to join the team in Chanhassen, MN. You will support the execution of design and development activities for multiple actuator platforms, including mechanical, embedded electrical and software systems, coordinating engineering tasks and tracking progress.

The role focuses on risk mitigation, Stage-Gate readiness, KPI driven analytics, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to meet performance and budget goals.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering Degree required.
• 5–7 years of engineering or engineering project experience.
• Strong technical background.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project management tools and scheduling methods.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong process mindset, attention to detail, documentation rigor, and compliance mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Detail‑oriented with focus on quality and customer needs.
• Must be a US Person.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Ensure Stage-Gate readiness with entry/exit criteria, artifacts and approvals.
• Anticipate challenges and suggest countermeasures or process improvements.
• Set clear expectations for the team and define roles and responsibilities.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks throughout the project.
• Facilitate sessions, capture minutes, track actions, and maintain records.
• Drive KPIs and continuous improvement; build KPI dashboards and analyze data.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
