Job summary

fairlife, LLC, a Chicago-based nutrition company, seeks an Engineering Project Manager for the Webster, NY plant. You will own end-to-end capital projects from design to commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence, partnering with Plant Engineering and Operations to drive improvements.

The role requires 5–10+ years in manufacturing, experience managing multi-million dollar capital programs, and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in manufacturing plants in the food and beverage industry.
• Demonstrated ability to take charge and own successful project outcomes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical cross functional teams.
• Proven project management and process engineering experience.
• Experience managing multiple complex capital projects, with individual projects up to $5mil.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Projects meet plant compliance to Federal, State, and Corporate Safety, Quality & environmental laws, rules & regulations all times.
• Lead the Design engineering of projects, partnering with cross functions, vendors, and assist in the development of capital plans for systems while providing recommendations for enhanced performance of the facility.
• Plan, Own Budget & life cycle of projects directing, and coordinate activities concerning design, construction, modification and maintenance of the processing equipment and infrastructure/utilities and mechanical designs.
• Partner with the Plant Engineering, Quality, Safety, Automation and Operations teams to troubleshoot problems and develop root cause and corrective actions.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Project Management systems.
