Job summary

Didion, Inc. seeks a seasoned leader to drive major capital projects in biofuels manufacturing.

You will guide projects from concept through startup, partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Leadership to deliver safe, reliable, and scalable improvements across our sites. The role requires a Chemical Engineering degree and 5+ years of industrial project experience, with proven budgeting, contractor management, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
  • 5+ years of engineering, project management, or capital project experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading projects from concept through implementation and startup, with budgeting and contractor management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital projects through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, contractors, and project risks.
  • Develop scopes of work, bid packages, contractor strategies, and execution plans.
  • Drive equipment upgrades, process improvements, and facility expansion initiatives.
  • Support capital investment planning and business case development.
  • Collaborate across Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Safety, and Leadership teams to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and aligned with operational goals.
