Job summary

Diode Dynamics, a leading automotive LED lighting manufacturer in Missouri, seeks an Engineering Project Manager to plan and execute engineering projects related to new products and changes. You will collaborate with the Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams to define requirements, plan milestones, allocate resources, and communicate progress to stakeholders, including external customers.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or related degree required.
• 3 years of project management experience in automotive-related environment.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, optical, electrical, quality, production).
• Experience with automotive engineering standards and APQP/DFMEA preferred.
• LED lighting and automotive manufacturing experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects from planning to execution, including new products and product changes.
• Gather and define project requirements with the Engineering Manager and team.
• Plan milestones, timelines, and allocate engineering resources.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders, including external customers.
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule using MS Project.
• Prepare budgets for engineering hours and materials, review with Director of Engineering.
• Lead project reviews and provide updates to strategy and progress.
• Ensure design work meets input requirements and passes PPAP validation.
• Identify constraints and resolve them cross-functionally to protect timelines.
