Job summary

Akkodis is looking for an experienced Junior Engineering Project Manager/ Project Analyst to supports the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects under the guidance of a senior project manager. The role will primarily support transmission, substation, and/or interconnection projects.

Based in Newark, Delaware with hybrid work arrangement, this position offers a pay rate of $50-55/hr and opportunities to coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Engineering and/or Project Management experience.
• Experience with transmission, substation, power delivery, or interconnection projects preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management/scheduling tools.
• PMP required for Project Management roles.
• Engineering or related technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, schedules, milestones, and resource coordination.
• Coordinate engineering activities with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Track project progress, deliverables, risks, and issues.
• Support engineering documentation, project reports, and status updates.
• Assist with coordination of design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain project schedules and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of project processes and tools.
