• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of project management or project execution experience in custom automation or industrial equipment.
• Strong background in automated machinery and manufacturing systems.
• Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical, controls, and integration disciplines.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage custom automation projects from kickoff through final commissioning and customer sign-off.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Coordinate internal engineering, manufacturing, assembly, controls, purchasing, and field service teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource plans.
• Conduct project review meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership and customers.
• Review engineering designs and ensure technical requirements are met.
• Manage project scope, change orders, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
• Support mechanical design reviews and collaborate with engineering teams on manufacturability and system performance.
• Coordinate machine build activities, FAT/SAT activities, installation, and startup support.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer quality expectations.
• Maintain documentation including schedules, meeting notes, action items, and project reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes and communication.
