Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead high‑impact engineering and manufacturing initiatives at our client site in Leola, PA. You'll oversee projects from initiation to delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources while coordinating across engineering, design, manufacturing, IT, procurement, and more.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience and hands-on equipment installation/commissioning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
• Develop project plans, staffing strategies, and business cases.
• Communicate with project partners and stakeholders clearly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong financial analysis and cost control knowledge.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
• Knowledge of SAP and Stage Gate is preferred.
• PM training or certifications (PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initiation to delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

• Navigate ambiguity with confidence, defining clear goals and deliverables.
• Oversee product requirements, technical assessments, prototyping, and production approvals.

• Mentor other project managers and elevate the engineering project management discipline.

Qualifications

• Requires one of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in engineering, business, or a technical related field of study and three (3) years of project management related experience, OR
  • Associate degree and eight (8) years project management related experience, OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent and twelve (12) years of project management related experience
• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with equipment installation, commissioning, or removal projects.
• Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
• Ability to establish project plans, regularly monitor and track progress on work projects, and communicate with project partners.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job‑related processes.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply financial analysis.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
• Knowledge of SAP and Stage Gate preferred.
• Project management training or training in project management related fields to include risk, quality, and scheduling preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred.
