Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in the United States seeks an engineering leader for the Large Power Systems Division, Core Components Heads, Blocks, and Housings. This role guides complex projects across functions, regions, and value chains to improve heads, blocks, and housings for quality, cost, and manufacturability.

You will drive New Product Introduction, supplier collaboration, and project execution with emphasis on technical excellence and team mentorship. Relocation and onsite work are supported.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with project management in a manufacturing or engineering context.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in New Product Introduction and Continuous Product Improvement programs.
• Develop and maintain project plans, scope, timelines, resources, and requirements.
• Coordinate resources across procurement, product development, value chain, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Oversee progress and costs; communicate status to stakeholders; resolve issues and delays.
• Direct project team; facilitate meetings; document actions and ensure accountability.
• Apply project strategy and problem-solving methods to deliverables.
