Job summary

Qualifications

Master's degree in an engineering field from a regionally accredited college or university preferred.
Significant years of professional experience working in engineering required.
Prior teaching experience in higher education strongly desired; online curriculum development and/or non-credit training a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to plan and implement departmental goals and strategic objectives.
Develop and innovate credit and non-credit courses and curricula; explore new programs and delivery methods.
Coordinate with admissions, marketing, and high schools for recruitment and articulation.
Network with employers and organizations to promote internships and partnerships.
Supervise instructional and non-instructional staff; manage faculty development and performance evaluations.
Plan and administer departmental budget and resources; ensure accreditation and compliance.
Monitor and assess student learning and program effectiveness; maintain assessment plans.
