Eaton is seeking an Engineering-Program Manager for its South Milwaukee, WI facility. The role leads cross-functional teams through product development, operations improvements, cost reduction, and sustaining initiatives to deliver high-impact programs.

You will drive planning, schedules, budgets, and phase-gate milestones while aligning with strategic objectives and customer outcomes. This position requires engineering leadership experience and a track record of delivering complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience in project leadership and/or New Product Development.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project execution by developing plans, managing schedules and deliverables, tracking performance, and ensuring successful phase gate completion.
• Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of a portfolio of projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, effective resource utilization, and successful delivery of business outcomes.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating critical concerns as needed to ensure successful program execution.
• Facilitate effective communication by leading project meetings, providing stakeholder updates, and documenting key decisions, actions, and program changes.
• Monitor project financial performance by managing budgets, supporting forecasting and business case development, and tracking realization of program benefits.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams by driving accountability, fostering collaboration, and resolving challenges to achieve program objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, promoting program management best practices, and supporting PMO process enhancements.
