Job summary

Cohere is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to join our customer-facing Engineering Program Management team. You will work with Strategic Customers and multiple Cohere groups to shape operations, manage enterprise AI projects, and ensure high-impact outcomes.

You will collaborate with AML Engineering, Forward Deployed teams, Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market functions, acting as the technical voice for customers while driving on-time delivery and program success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Engineering or Technical Program Manager, including 2+ years in customer-facing delivery of enterprise AI software/solutions.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to ship technical products/services to customers.
• Knowledge or experience with LLM training or optimization is a differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly across the tech org, Cohere teams, leadership, and strategic customers/external partners.
• Break down complex issues, drive engineering alignment with product, business, and marketing.
• Create and manage program schedules, identify dependencies, manage risks, and align teams.
• Ensure on-time delivery, identify development needs, and establish status checkpoints.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, prioritize impacts to schedule and product quality.
