The Program Manager will focus on launching commerce features and capabilities to build a world-class, scalable commerce platform for our growing services business. The role requires a combination of program management, strong engineering background, and ability to build reciprocal relationships across various teams within Apple Services Engineering and other Apple organizations. We are looking for someone who loves digging into details, finding patterns, and driving operational efficiencies under demanding timeframes.In this role, you will need to have hands on experience working with engineers as you explore new technologies, drive new initiatives and help build systems and features for hundreds of millions of transacting customers. Developing tools and processes to gain efficiencies in the development and testing lifecycle will be an essential part of the role. You will drive technical discussions with internal and external partners to implement the right solution for customers and take responsibility, communicate responsibilities and scope clearly and feel a personal stake in the product you ship. You will plan for risk mitigation and run trade-offs and have the ability to thrive in uncertainty, striving to bring order to it, while building positive relationships naturally.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of Technical product/program management experience in Enterprise software development environment with a demonstrable experience in all aspects of Engineering Program Management
- Prior experience in eCommerce order life cycle, Revenue reconciliation, Financials, Accounting & Reporting, and/or Direct & Indirect Taxation areas
- Experience and understanding of the full business cycle from customer purchase, procurement, and financial reporting globally
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Shipping large scale paid Subscription Software or Services consumer products used by millions globally
- Experience in Project management of complex, high impact projects from ideation to launch and post launch
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple product and engineering teams for alignment, planning and delivery of products
- Strong facilitation skills for requirements gathering, scoping, planning, and review sessions across multiple teams
- Experience in driving system architectural discussions and driving a scalable platform development
- Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of operating autonomously, and being self driven and self motivated to deliver high quality results in an organized manner
- Highly organized and able to demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills for all level of an organization
- Naturally accountable and responsible individual
- Overall, a highly motivated, results-oriented, problem solver who enjoys a fast paced environment to deliver value to customers
- Business-savvy with MBA a plus
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
