Job summary
Seek Thermal is seeking a Technical Program Manager (Engineering Project Lead) to own the technical critical path of one or more new-product programs—driving design decisions, integrations, and verifications from concept through production across electrical, mechanical, software/firmware, optics, and systems. Reports to the SVP of Engineering.
You’ll be accountable for design outputs, design reviews, and technical trade-offs, work with program management, and provide technical deliverables for
Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years owning the technical critical path of embedded hardware/software
- At least one shipped sensing or electro-optical product taken through production
- U.S. person (citizen or permanent resident) under ITAR/EAR requirements
Responsibilities
- Own the technical critical path of NPD programs through gates
- Ensure design outputs and reviews are complete and defensible at every gate
- Make and document technical trade-offs with cross-functional approval
- Identify technical risks early and drive mitigations
- Assign engineering tasks and drive technical status with program management
- Drive 8D root-cause and corrective action for sensor/manufacturing failures
- Ensure PRD requirements are testable and verification is defined
- Provide SOWs and specifications for supplier engagements and represent engineering with customers
