Job summary

BNY Mellon is recruiting for a 2027 Summer Internship in Engineering (Production Services). The program offers hands-on experience in maintaining, monitoring, and improving enterprise applications within a collaborative, global environment.

Interns will work with AI tools, contribute to process improvements, and gain exposure to the software development lifecycle. Ideal candidates are pursuing a 4-year undergrad in business/tech, will graduate in Dec 2027 or May 2028, and maintain a 3.0+ GPA.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications and technology platforms in a complex enterprise environment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute work, resolve issues, and support both short-term fixes and long-term improvements.
• Leverage AI and other toolsets to monitor production health, analyze trends and performance data, and help identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Document procedures, configurations, and support activities while building knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
