Job summary

Musco Lighting in Oskaloosa, IA seeks a Production Documents Intern to support the Application Engineering team by preparing project information and materials, creating BOMs and 3D models using Musco software, and developing pole configuration drawings with AutoCAD. The role runs part-time in-person through a temp agency, with potential for spring/summer 2027.

The intern will gain hands-on experience while contributing to project accuracy and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Freshmen, Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial technology.
Strong written and communication skills.
Motivated self-starter and collaborative problem solver.
Able to work without supervision.
Strong computer skills in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Prepare project documents and materials that support the Application Engineering team.
Create bills of materials, documents, and 3D models using Musco proprietary software.
Develop pole configuration drawings, aiming diagrams, and related contractor documents using AutoCAD.
Assist with modeling parts in Inventor when needed.
Support manufacturing and project execution by helping ensure accurate information is available for each project.
