Job summary

Our client, a manufacturing and engineering organization, is seeking an Engineering Product Technician to join their team in Chandler, AZ. You will support cross-functional teams across product development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, plus strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with product development, testing, and validation activities to help ensure products meet performance and customer requirements.
• Create, maintain, and update engineering documentation, including drawings, work instructions, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Build, assemble, and evaluate product prototypes, then collect, analyze, and document test data to support engineering decisions.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process issues, helping teams improve quality and reliability.
• Coordinate engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change orders (ECOs), and collaborate with manufacturing to improve production efficiency.
