Job summary
Austal USA is seeking an ERP/Procurement Coordinator to create parts in ERP, manage BOMs, and ensure documentation for equipment is in order. You will work with Designers and Engineers to provide weekly BOMs and support changes with accurate estimates.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, and experience with ERP systems, ShipConstructor, and BizFlow. On-site role in Mobile, AL with exposure to naval ship projects and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred and strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PDF/ CAD tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement processes preferred.
- Familiarity with ShipConstructor and BizFlow is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Create parts in ERP system.
- Create requisitions in ERP system.
- Review SDRLs to ensure proper documentation is procured.
- Maintain procurement for all projects including BOM, Kanban, min/max, buffer.
- Provide weekly BOMs to CAD Integration for all projects.
- Coordinate change support with Engineers/Designers including estimates.
- Maintain Technical Specifications in coordination with Project Engineer.
- Assist Project Engineers with metrics development and tracking.
