Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Engineering Continuous Improvement & Process Manager to lead the Engineering Project & Process Group, advance Lean transformations, and drive cross-functional process improvements across the Military and Commercial Aircraft Groups.

You will manage a team of project, process, and digital engineers, develop governance, training, and deploy new processes while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and other standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10 years of design and development engineering experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in driving broad change initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize many projects across diverse groups and locations.
• Experience coaching teams in problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of staff and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Project & Process Group, including recruiting and budgeting.
• Prioritize and deliver new processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure processes connect across functions.
• Provide advisory services on governance, training, and Lean practices.
• Drive cross-functional process improvements and project prioritization.
• Conduct process audits, create process maps and KPIs, and maintain docs.
• Plan deployment of processes with training and resources.
