Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality at Hammock Beach Resort is seeking a Pool Technician to ensure the cleanliness and proper operation of multiple pools and spas. You will maintain chemical and temperature logs, vacuum and backwash filters, and assist with tile and surface inspections.

Must be 18+ with the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. The role requires outdoor work in Florida's subtropical climate, lifting up to 60 lbs, and flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of pool and spa areas.
• Record chemical and temperature logs daily.
• Vacuum pools and spas; backwash filters; clean DE filtration and cartridge systems.
• Inspect tile and surfaces and report defects to engineering/maintenance.
• Observe, skim and assist with routine pool/spa safety and upkeep.

Daily duties to include: A. Chemical and temperature logs for all pools. B. Vacuum pools and spas on a daily basis. C. Clean diatomaceous earth (DE) filtration systems and cartridge filter systems. D. Backwash filters. E. Clean traps on all pool’s and spa’s.F. Clean and survey tile and inner surfaces of pool and spas for any defects to report to engineering/maintenance department.G. Report any noticed malfunctions for defects in pool and spa equipment to the supervisor.H. Observe and skim pools and spas as needed throughout your shift.Education / Experience1. Must be over the age 18.2. Previous pool maintenance experience preferred but not required.3. Previous maintenance experience preferred.4.
