Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL, seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Engineer Planning Analyst to lead UR&R staffing and onboarding for interns and college hires.

You will plan yearly forecasts, lead discipline-lead meetings, and provide weekly status reports using POST. Travel up to 10% may be required; government clearance is needed. This role sits within a dynamic engineering workforce operations team at NGAS.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience OR a Master's degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Must have professional and/or military experience to include a background in Staffing, Project Management, Strategy and Operations, and/or Business Operations
• Must have ability to travel up to 10% of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs.
• Must have ability to obtain a government issued clearance as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead UR&R and Onboarding activities for interns and college hires.
• Plan yearly forecast of interns and college hires.
• Lead bi-weekly meetings with Discipline Leads.
• Utilize POST for UR&R activities and provide weekly reports.
• Work with Discipline Leads on clearance activities and provide weekly reports on status.
• Lead intern onboarding and ensure seating and equipment availability.
• Lead Onboarding for the sector and provide a detailed onboarding status report.
• Provide data reports to programs and support talent acquisition data calls from POST.
