Job summary

Hyson is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering & Operations on the site leadership team. This role unifies Product and Application Engineering with Manufacturing, Maintenance & Facilities, and Continuous Improvement to drive operations performance.

You will own production output, efficiency, and cost performance, lead capacity planning and capital projects, and coach a high-performing team while embedding a data-driven CI culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering and/or manufacturing operations.
• Experience delivering across engineering and operations functions simultaneously.
• Strong financial acumen; able to own budgets, analyze variances, and build business cases.
• Lean/CI experience with tools like VSM, kaizen, 5S, and standard work.

Responsibilities

• Provide unified leadership for Engineering and Operations across product development and production execution.
• Drive design-for-manufacturability to improve production efficiency and quality.
• Oversee maintenance, facilities, and capital planning to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Lead capacity planning and resource allocation to meet demand while reducing waste.
• Cultivate a high-performing team through coaching and accountability.
• Collaborate with Sales on technical proposals and new product introductions.
