Job summary

Swoon is seeking a Project/Program Manager to lead a portfolio of New Source Introduction initiatives, coordinating with engineering, strategy, and program management teams. This onsite role supports leadership with timely data and clear status updates.

You will track progress, prepare updates, and facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive informed decisions across multiple programs within a technical environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience within a technical environment.
• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, production, or other technically complex programs
• Strong Excel skills with experience extracting, organizing, and analyzing project data
• Experience with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Strong meeting facilitation, stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to independently manage priorities and work across multiple teams and initiatives
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Lafayette, IN or Mossville, IL

Project Coordinator | Program Manager | Engineering & Manufacturing Programs

Locations: Lafayette, IN or Mossville, IL

Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Relocation: Candidates open to relocating are encouraged to apply

Pay: $30-40/hr W2

Some project management roles are about owning one project from start to finish. This one gives you a seat across an entire portfolio of technical programs.

Swoon is working with an industry-leading engineering and manufacturing company that’s adding a Project/Program Manager to support its New Source Introduction (NSI) portfolio. This person will work directly with program leadership, engineering teams, strategy leads, and project managers to understand where programs stand, bring the right information to the surface, and help leadership make informed decisions across the portfolio.

It’s a strong opportunity for someone with a technical project management background who wants broader exposure to how engineering and manufacturing programs are managed at the portfolio level.

You do not need to already live in Indiana or Central Illinois. The team is open to candidates who are interested in relocating to either Lafayette or the Peoria/Mossville area for the opportunity.
