Job summary

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, is seeking an Engineering Manager in Anderson, SC to lead the Value Engineering team. You will drive cost reduction, product optimization, and measurable business results while developing engineering talent across multiple product categories.

You will partner with Product Management, Global Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing to implement solutions that maintain performance and quality, while delivering data-driven recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering, product development, or technical project leadership experience.
• Minimum 2 years leading projects or teams.
• Experience leading cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers for value engineering and cost reduction across product categories.
• Own the VE project portfolio, savings roadmap, forecasting, and financial objectives.
• Identify VE opportunities through teardowns, benchmarking, and design analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Global Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations.
• Drive data-driven recommendations to leadership and maintain status reporting.
