Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of large-scale ultrapure water and wastewater treatment plants in a high-rate industrial setting. You will manage cross-functional teams across process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls, driving safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 8+ years in wastewater design/operations, leadership of engineering teams, and experience with advanced treatment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM required.
5+ years leading cross-functional teams and external contractors on large projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of US environmental regulations and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle of UPW and wastewater facilities from design to commissioning and operation.
Ensure compliance with EPA, NPDES and other environmental regulations.
Develop specifications for advanced treatment processes (precipitation, filtration, EDI/IX, AOP).
Oversee cross-functional engineering teams and external EPC contractors to meet timelines and budget.
Drive safety culture, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments for hazardous waste.
Interface with regulatory agencies and prepare technical reports for environmental audits.
