Millerbernd Manufacturing in Winsted, MN, seeks an Engineering Manager (T&I) to lead manufacturing engineers, methods, and programming teams. You will drive lean improvements, coordinate with design and production, and oversee equipment & external services to meet safety and productivity goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, experience managing engineering teams, and proficiency with Cadlink and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering required.
• Proven experience managing manufacturing processes and engineering teams.
• Experience with ERP systems and Cadlink software; strong Lean/5S knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs and improve on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth transitions and high efficiency.
• Oversee purchasing and validation of equipment and external engineering services.
• Develop strategies for pricing, program planning, risk management, and margin generation at proposal stage.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy; manage work plans, schedules, budgets, and metrics.
• Manage tooling library and use SPC tools to boost production efficiency.
• Ensure QMS compliance and accurate BOMs/BOOs for products; lead engineers, methods specialists, and programmers.
