Job summary

Path Robotics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Tier 2 software support team. You will manage diagnosing, preventing, and resolving complex production issues while partnering with Product, Systems Integration, Robotics, and Customer Operations to maintain reliability.

You’ll mentor engineers, refine monitoring and runbooks, own escalation paths, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software or support engineering teams.
• Experience with large-scale, distributed, or production software systems.
• Hands-on technical involvement with complex production issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a highly motivated L2 Software Support team responsible for advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex software issues.
• Own the escalation path from L1 support, ensuring timely root-cause analysis and durable fixes.
• Partner with engineering, systems integration, and product teams to drive issue resolution and improve system stability.
• Establish and refine support processes, tooling, and operational best practices (e.g., SLAs, incident response, postmortems).
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on production issues.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, documentation, and runbooks for faster diagnosis and recovery.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer impact.
