Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager for our Business & Profile Monetization team. You will lead a team building products that enable brands and creators to monetize on Snapchat.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and mentor developers in a fast-paced environment
2. Set strategy, develop roadmaps, and lead team execution
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
4. Evaluate technical tradeoffs and mentor technically
5. Hire, develop, and retain talent

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong CS fundamentals
• Expertise in Objective C/Swift, Java/Kotlin, or TypeScript
• Experience with mobile app development using Cross-Platform tools like React Native or Flutter
• Leadership experience in engineering teams
• Ability to manage large technical initiatives
• Strong product sense and stakeholder collaboration skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software development experience or relevant advanced degrees with experience
• At least 1 year of experience as an Engineering Manager

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record in dynamic, collaborative environments
• Experience with mission-critical, highly available global systems
